Going into week five, Summerville Green Wave running back, Deangelo Henderson, needed just 105 yards to eclipse the 1000-yard rushing mark for the 2010 football season. With 895 rushing yards under his belt, Summerville Green Wave running back, Deangelo Henderson, went into Friday night's game against Stratford with high hopes of surpassing the 1000-yard mark for the 2010 football season. Well needless to say, Henderson's mission was accomplished in the first quarter, which was highlighted by an impressive 80-yard scamper to the house on the first play of Summerville's second offensive series of the opening quarter.

The first quarter was merely a taste of what was to come from Henderson for the remainder of the night. The gifted 2010 back finished out the night with 289 yards on just 21 carries, and scored 4 rushing touchdowns.

After Friday night's stellar performance, Henderson's numbers have been bumped up to an impressive 1184 yards on the ground and 16 rushing touchdowns for the season.
