After committing to defending national champions Auburn 2012 Wando High defensive end Gimel President continues to pick up preseason recognition as his team continues final preparations for their season opener this coming Friday. Earlier this month Wando High defensive end Gimel President was named to the SCPrepNation.com Pre-season All-State 1st team and he just picked up more pre-season recognition.

"The Post and Courier rated me as the #1 player in the Lowcountry in high school football for 2011. This is a very blessed day for me, my teammates, and coaches. Now as Coach Noonan says we have to transfer this to the grass."
