Pat Martin: Change Of Plans Again?

Initially after much thought he had his next destination was set. Speaking with Scout.com on Monday those plans may have changed yet again.

Pat Martin Profile

It's been an interesting journey to say the least so far for 2011 safety Pat Martin of J.L. Mann High School. Martin initially committed to Tennessee and was in the midst of preparing for his freshman season with the Volunteers when he decided that he wanted to leave Knoxville.

Nearly a month ago we had talked with Martin and he was in the midst of deciding where he wanted to go next. After much conversation with him the ex-Volunteer told us he was set on heading to Georgia Military College.

Apparently his destination has changed once again.

"I'm not going to Georgia Military anymore. I'm going to Arizona Western for a year."

So what brought about his most recent switch?

"I just didn't think I would be as succuessful in a military school," Martin said.

"I can't really see myself doing the military stuff. I leave January 6th for Arizona."

Stay tuned as we'll keep you up to date regarding Martin's quest to land back on the D1 level after a year at Western Arizona.
