Below we have junior season highlights of 2013 wide receiver/safety Samuel Felder of Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School. Felder came to the Badger Sport South Showcase/Combine last year and put up some solid numbers. Although he measured 6'3 150 pounds the 2013 prospect has grown another inch to 6'4 and put on 20 pounds moving him to 170 pounds currently.
What we like most obviously about Felder is his size at 6'4 but he's got decent speed clocking a 4.68 second 40 yard dash last season on a slow surface. Although he's added weight he'll most definitely need to add more this offseason to better prepare himself for the college level.
Another trait that we noticed about Felder's play at wideout was his fearlessness going across the middle to make a catch. He's not the sturdiest guy out there but he's got heart and he made some really nice grabs where others probably would be looking not to get popped with a huge hit.
Should Felder add some more weight, keep or improve his speed, all while getting stronger in the weight room then don't be surprised to see some schools make a move on him. We're anxious to see how he tests this offseason to barometer where he's at physically. For now, check out his junior highlights below courtesy of SCPrepNationTV.
