Talented 2013 cornerback Jamario Williams of Hilton Head Christian Academy hit the road over the weekend taking a visit to Georgia Tech. The 6'1 175 pound prospect says the Yellow Jackets are one of the schools that's recruiting him the hardest and he sat down with us to talk about his trip to Atlanta.
"What I saw at Georgia Tech were players who were hard working, a nice facility, and a great coaching staff."
Williams says he was able to spend some time with a couple of the Yellow Jacket coaches as well.
"I got to spend time with Coach Sewak and also got to talk to the recievers coach who is Coach Preston."
One aspect of his trip really stood out to his as his favorite though.
"I like the practices the most and also the time to talk to players about what it takes to play college ball."
The Yellow Jacket coaches told Williams what they like about him the most.
"The coaches liked me a lot they said I had the size to play and they also said they wanted to see me run and catch at camp."
Williams has a strong interest in the ACC school and he's hoping a strong showing at their camp may result in an offer.
"To me if I go and do what I have to do and perform well in front of the coaches as I did on the field then I think they may offer me."
