S Corey Dogan Has More New Suitors

Arguably one of the state's top prospects without a scholarship offer yet 2013 safety Corey Dogan of Blue Ridge High School should see that all change soon. Prominent D1 programs from across the nation are recruiting Dogan after he put up 120+ tackles, 2 intereceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 5 pass break ups as a junior. Blessed with 4.39 speed and very good strength Dogan is ready to explode!

Corey Dogan Profile

As one of the state's top safety prospects in the 2013 recruiting class Blue Ridge High's Corey Dogan has a number of D1 programs showing early interest. Dogan is hoping to parlay his strong junior season and match it with a strong start to his senior season into some early offers.

His junior season saw him rack up 121 tackles, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, and 5 pass break ups. The 5'10 185 pound prospect is hoping to amass even more stats in hopes of landing that elusive first offer. A new trio of schools have started to recruit Dogan and he shared them with SCPrepNation.com.

"I'm hearing from South Carolina, Purdue, and Syracuse now too."

Given his physical style of play and his 4.39 second speed in the 40 yard dash its no wonder that so many schools are highly interested in the Blue Ridge standout.

Dogan in our opinion is one of the state's top prospects without an offer right now. That should change soon if he comes out of the gates making big plays for the Tigers like he did last year as a junior.

SCPrepNation.com will keep you abreast of Dogan's recruitment as we expect things to pick up drastically given his athletic ability and ballhawking skills.
