Zach Butler Profile

SCPrepNation.com got word from 2017 Dorman High point guard Zach Butler's father, Don Butler, that the Clemson basketball staff invited them down on Friday to check out the team's "Rock The John" event which is their version of Midnight Madness.

"We're getting ready to head down to Clemson right now to check them out. Zach is really looking forward to the experience."

Butler who stands 6'0 150 pounds has been one of the country's top prospects according to multiple scouting services. Some have him rated among the classes' top 20 prospects nationwide. He may start out on the JV level considering he's in the eighth grade but don't be surprised if he doesn't move to the varsity before too long. He works out with some of the Upstate's top high school prospects when he's not traveling the country with his AAU team out of Georgia.

We'll have an update with Butler to talk about his experience at Clemson on Friday night so stay tuned to SCPrepNation.com.
