Sean Smith Profile
The last time we spoke with 2014 tight end Sean Smith of Summerville High School he had just landed his first scholarship offer. That was a little over a week ago. Since then Smith has camped with a pair of schools but at the same time picked up another pair of offers. He gave SCPrepNation.com the very latest on Friday.
"Thing have been going pretty good. East Carolina is close to offering and I picked up my second D1 offer from Georgia State. Presbyterian also offered me after they did."
Smith camped a couple of weekends ago with East Carolina and Wake Forest. He talked about how things went at both schools.
"I had a good camp at ECU and they told me they thought I would be a good fit for their system. They ran me in the slot a lot and they are going to look at things at the end of the camp season and make the offer then."
"Wake Forest told me they had offered another tight end and didn't think they were going to offer a second one. That kinda surprised me but that's how recruiting goes."
There will be little to no rest for Smith as he journeys out on another ambitious camp and visit schedule this week.
"I'm headed to Marshall, Kentucky, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Central Florida this week."
SCPrepNation.com will keep you up to date with Smith's recruitment as he continues to camp hard and heavy in hopes of landing more scholarship offers so stay tuned!
