Long considered one of the state's top prospects in the 2014 class Goose Creek running back continues to show exactly why early on in his senior season. On Friday Kinlaw and the Gators took on Summerville.
Kinlaw capped another impressive game with a 81 yard touchdown. For the night Kinlaw had 21 carries for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns. His last touchdown run gave the Gators a 34-17 victory over rivals Summerville.
Kinlaw, a Georgia Tech commit, continues to be one of the Lowcountry's and state leaders in rushing early on.
We spoke to Kinlaw and he said that he's unsure of when he may take a visit to Georgia Tech but that there's a possibility that he could make the trip this weekend to see them take on North Carolina.
Also of note in the game was that 2014 Summerville cornerback and South Carolina commit Darrin Smalls was injured in the first half and did not return. No word on how serious the injury is yet.
