Dre Massey Profile

Over the weekend 2014 Mauldin High quarterback/wide receiver Dre Massey took a visit to Raleigh to check out North Carolina State. The dynamic athlete gave SCPrepNation.com details about his visit and who else has been in the mix as of late.

"My visit to NC State went pretty good," Massey said.

"I really enjoyed viewing all of their athletic facilities. They are making an indoor football facility and it looks like it's going to be really nice."

So what's the current situation regarding the Wolfpack's interest at this point?

"We are supposed to talk more this week and hope to work out an offer."

Other ACC schools in the mix recently are Clemson and Maryland. Massey says that Maryland has come on lately.

"They said that they want my film and they are talking to coach Taylor today. So we will talk more with them this week and see what happens."

Massey's senior season was remarkable considering the numbers he put up lining up under center for the Mavericks. He amassed nearly 5,000 yards of offense and wowed crowds with his speed, athleticism, and ability to make defenders miss.

The 2014 prospect was also named the Big 16 (AAAA's largest classification) Offensive Player of the Year and has been selected to play in this year's North-South All-Star game.
