The Xavier Dye elgibility saga will continue as a SC judge has denied his injunction to play for the Byrnes Rebels this year. Look for Dye's attorney's to file an emergency appeal on his behalf.

South Carolina judge James R. Barber III denied former Greenwood High star WR Xavier Dye who is attempting to play for the Byrnes Rebels this year. Dye's athletic eligibility was denied by the South Caroina High School League and subsequently Dye has brought forth the lawsuit in order to try and play this season for Byrnes. Look for an emergency appeal to be filed by Dye's attorneys.

Dye, a 6'5 180 pound wide receiver has committed to play for Clemson. He moved in with his uncle who lives in Duncan, SC over the summer but the SCHSL ruled that his move never involved a legitimate change of address denying his eligibility.

SCPrepNation.com will have the very latest on the Xavier Dye case as it unfolds.
