SCPrepNation.com has learned that Byrnes WR Xavier Dye's transfer has finally been approved by the SCHSL.

SCPrepNation.com has learned that Byrnes WR Xavier Dye has been cleared by the South Carolina High School League finally after a lengthy battle in the court system to gain his eligibility.

Dye, a Clemson commit, has been practicing with the Rebels all season long and will now have the opportunity to take the field after 8 games into the season. When asked about his thoughts of the decision he responded, "It's really taught me a life lesson about being patient."

With the AAAA playoffs just around the corner and the Rebels coming off their first loss of the season last week versus Gaffney expect Dye to be brought along rather quickly to prepare them for another tough playoff run. SCPrepNation.com will have more on the Byrnes standout as he finally begins his career for the Rebels on the playing field.
