Kevin Garnett a former Mauldin High School standout reached a huge milestone Saturday night versus the New Jersey Nets. Garnett went out and scored 32 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in a 109-98 victory over the Nets but the former Mauldin native also became just the 32nd player in NBA history to reach the 10,000 rebounds mark.
This season hasn't been an easy one for Garnett and his Minnesota Timberwolves but the talented big man has rallied his team as of late with their record now at 19-16 thus far. After their victory Garnett had this to say about his team's recent success, "We're on a big roll. We're playing confident basketball."
On the season Garnett is currently averaging 22.5 ppg, 12.5 rpg, 4.4 apg, and 1.94 bpg.
