The Greenville Red Raiders continue to play well in AAA play and while their offense gets most of the attention their defense has improved a great deal compared to years past. Part of that is due to players like 2009 prospect DE Mike Davis.
The 6'2 250 pounder has been a regular visitor in the backfield of opposing teams this season. In fact Davis scored his first touchdown of the season Friday against the Seneca Bobcats. The Red Raiders went on to a 43-14 victory after being down 14-0 to start the game.
On Saturday Davis made an unofficial visit to Columbia to see the South Carolina Gamecocks take on Mississippi State. He also informed us that the Alabama Crimson Tide have also began to show him some recruiting interest as well.
With his continued strong play expect Davis to hear from more prominent programs. SCPrepNation.com will bring you all the latest so keep it locked right here!
