Floyd and his J.L. Mann Patriots have lost some tough games in recent weeks but Floyd has put up some huge numbers. His most recent performance came Friday night against Greer High School. The Patriots lost 17-13 to the Yellow Jackets but Floyd was dynamic in his effort.
A devastating tackler from his safety position, Floyd also lines up at WR for the Patriots. On Friday night he caught 8 passes for 175 yards and went for 2 touchdowns.
Schools have been swarming the 2008 prospect despite his commitment to the Volunteers. His play on the field is good reason as to why. Floyd says he's still committed to the Vols but schools such as Michigan, North Carolina State, and South Carolina have been employing the full press to him as of late. SCPrepNation.com will have more on J.T. Floyd so keep it locked right here!
