Eric Smith: Starting Off The Season Strong!

A quick look at how 2010 PG Eric Smith of Mullins High has started off his junior season. The South Carolina Gamecock verbal commit is forging himself as one of the frontrunners for the best overall prospect in the Palmetto State for 2010.

Two games in the books so far for 2010 Mullins High PG Eric Smith. Two games and two outstanding performances to start the season to be exact.

Friday night Smith went out and scored 27 points and dealt 10 assists against Latta High in a convincing 83-41 blowout. Prior to that he went for 21 points and 8 assists in a 90-47 win over Creek Bridge. So far he is averaging 24 points and 9 assists per game. More importantly Smith's squad now stands at 2-0 on the young season.

Next up on the slate for Smith and Mullins are another matchup against both schools they've already faced, Creek Bridge and Latta this week. We'll have more updates concerning Eric Smith and sit down with the 2010 standout to talk about his thoughts early on in the season and what his focus is now trying to lead Mullins High to a state championship so stay tuned.
