UMD Commit Lands SEC Offer!

Summerville High School defensive tackle prospect, Brice Laughlin, made a commitment to the University of Maryland a little over a month ago. But that didn't stop him from landing an offer from this up and coming SEC program.

The University of Maryland was the first major school to offer Summerville High School DL prospect, Brice Laughlin, a football scholarship. And after an overwhelming visit up to College Park, the 6-3, 280 pound DT decided that UMD was where he wanted to spend the next 4-5 years of his life.

Well despite his commitment to the Terrapins, the big man from out of Summerville, SC landed another scholarship offer from an up and coming SEC program. The University of Kentucky just recently extended the Low Country star an invitation to join their program.

SCPrepNation spoke to a reliable source that is very close to the situation, and from the sound of things, Laughlin's commitment to UMD is still firm. But if anything changes, you can rest assure that SCPrepNation.com will fill you in on the latest details.
