The Bearcats of Rock Hill High had a very strong season last year. Part of their success was due to 2010 QB Randall Dixon. Although the Bearcats are known for their bruising ground game Dixon still managed to put up some solid numbers. The strangest part however is that for most of the season he split time with fellow 2010 standout WR/ATH Jatavious Stewart at the quarterback position.
Dixon says that Stewart will be seeing more time as a wide reciever this year which should leave most of the quarterback duties for Dixon this year. Stewart projects as a wideout or athlete on the next level so the move should be a win win situation for both parties.
Considering he split time and runs an offense that has long been geared mostly towards the run being able to post 1700 yards and 20 touchdowns is pretty impressive. A number of D1 schools have taken an interest in Dixon already and he's looking forward to continuing his strong work ethic to try and land some offers in the near future.
Stay tuned to SCPrepNation.com as we will have a thorough update with Dixon to talk about how his offseason and recruitment has gone thus far as he is headed to North Carolina State this weekend with teammate CB Xavier McFadden.
