The Palmetto State has let another gifted talent slip out of state. This time it was in the form of a 6-1, 250 pound defensive lineman from out of Byrnes High School. 2010 defensive tackle prospect, Roland Johnson, has reached a decision on where he will be heading to college next, and he just recently phoned up SCPrepNation.com with the news. "I just wanted to let you know that I just committed to Western Carolina," Johnson said with the sound of excitement in his voice. "I'm so glad it's over now. It's been one crazy process."
Johnson was simply a BEAST on the field for the Rebels this past fall. He spent several Friday nights wreaking havoc on opposing offenses, and you can expect him to do the same thing on Saturdays at WCU.
Hats off to WCU on a great addition to their 2010 recruiting class.
