2011 LB/DE Darrius Williams Update

2011 LB/DE Darrius Williams

Holding a Big Ten offer already 2011 LB/DE Darrius Williams has been a jack of all trades for the BHP Bearcats. This offseason Williams has been working hard at improving multiple facets of his game. Come inside for a quick update about one of the most gifted prospects in the Palmetto State.

Darrius Williams Profile

Football without a doubt is the epitome of a "team" sport. While there are great individual prospects they rely on ten other teammates to help shoulder the load during each snap of the ball. Coaches love players who are talented enough to play multiple positions at a high level and one of the state's most versatile prospects is 2011 BHP LB/DE Darrius Williams.

At 6'2 220 pounds primary position for the BHP Bearcats has been at defensive end. While we and most college coaches envision him as a linebacker on the next level Williams' talents don't stop at those two positions.

Williams also handles punt duties for the Bearcats and he's set to be a bruising running back as well for them this coming season. Given his size and speed (ran a 4.51 40 last week) Williams will be more than a load for opposing defenses to bring down.

This offseason Williams has yet to max out in the weight room but he's already surpassed previous maxes and expects to show significant increases once they do max out.

Already holding an offer from Wisconsin Williams still has the interest of a ton of schools. In fact, the BHP prospect says he may take a visit to Western Carolina this week or next to see what the Catamounts' campus and facilities are like.

With so many schools keeping a close eye on him expect the offers to come rolling in once Williams and the Bearcats start the season and his early film starts to circulate. SCPrepNation.com will bring you the news first so keep it locked right here for the very latest.
