Saturday's SCPrepNation/Wetnot Elite Combine/Speed Clinic in Gastonia, NC was a success. While we didn't have a couple hundred participants we did have some outstanding prospects show up who were wanting that needed edge to try and reach the next level.
Wetnot founder Tremayne Stephens and his staff put the troops to the test and although it wasn't easy campers were able to take plenty of fantastic knowledge and technique back home with them. Along with that they were able to get their hands on Wetnot's waterproof cleat cover which is quickly becoming one of the market's hottest products. With some of the product line on backorder already it's easy to see that this technology is a must have for competitive football players and programs.
Participants were also able to make a lot of new friends and while most weren't too fond of the plyometric workouts that Stephens put them through they all realized that hard work is what's necessary to try and work towards college level. Some prospects already have numerous college scholarships or heavy interest on the table but everyone there was there to get better and faster. Check out some of the video highlights from the action on Saturday.
