| Spread offense type of hybrid running back/wide receiver, Jones plays best when he is in space and can make one player miss, though he is happy to hit a defender as well to get added yardage. Very low center of gravity and strength in his lower body, gets up to speed quickly and changes direction on a dime. Will not blow by defenders with his speed, but his vision allows him to cut through lanes and has a knack for finding a soft spot in zone. |

| Nick Jones finished his junior season with 64 receptions for 814 yards and 13 touchdowns. He says he can bench 275-pounds, squat 420 and claims a 35-inch vertical jump. Jones also runs track (10.6 100m; 23.0 200m), but plans on only playing football in college.
Jones plans to major in sports management and reports a 3.3 core GPA and a 920 SAT. He took the ACT on June 13.
Jones: “I have great speed and I’m very smart on the field. I can catch any ball thrown and I’m very dependable. I love getting the ball in big situations.
“I want to continue getting faster and work on my overall quickness and explosiveness.”
